This Remington 783 features a 22″ carbon steel, button-rifled barrel with a 1:8″ twist rate. The synthetic stock has dual-pillar bedding platform that free-floats the barrel for shot-to-shot consistency and a high nylon fiber content for superior strength and rigidity. The stock also includes a SuperCell recoil pad that reduces felt recoil by up to 54% over standard pads. The 783 comes with Remingtons CrossFire trigger system that is factory set to 3.5 lbs. and is user adjustable. This bolt-action rifle comes with a two-position thumb safety and the trigger system features a center lever that locks the trigger until it is fully depressed. This rifle uses a detachable steel magazine with 4-round capacity for quick and consistent reloading. Has an overall length of 41.63″ and weighs 8 lbs. This model is chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor.
